Ch 2.9 ~ Rebirth

Journal Entry 9

This time seemed to be the ‘spring’ of our lives.

Our grief had made us stronger, had made us bond, had spurred us to work harder at making our Legacy a success.

I was promoted to Cat Burgler and finally, my LTW, Master Thief! With the job came perks and sometimes I would get to keep a painting or sculpture from a heist.

Jefferson was rising in the ranks rapidly and was already the Lead in the Orchestra.

Geraldine had finally finished her 12 paintings the City commissioned her to do.  She went down to City Hall to deliver them, grateful for the opportunity to have her work displayed for many to see and enjoy.  She came home with a broad smile on her face and she called me into the living area to make an announcement.

"ZOMG!" "Guess how much they paid me?"

"ZOMG!" "Guess how much they paid me?"

“How much?? Tell me!!”

“$45 000!!!!”

“HUH?!”  o.O

Yes, that’s right, you saw right!  $45 000!

Needless to say it took quite a while to sink in o.O

Geraldine was very excited, she wanted us to use all of it on the final finishing off on our Legacy House, as she had another announcement…

Geraldine was pregnant!

All this news was too exciting for me and my over-excitable trait got the better of me and I jumped up and down like a looney, giggling and squealing hysterically.

Geraldine loved being pregnant, and poured over all the pregnancy books we had for hours.

The well leafed pages of totally preggersMom started visiting us shortly after Geraldine’s announcement.  It was nice to have her around, even if it was only in spirit.

A good thing, the Legacy house was almost ready to move into, even if it was not complete inside, nor fully finished… this place was getting cramped!

Mom went and inspecting things before we moved in.

Where's the furniture??

Evangeline was fascinated with the whole baby idea and her and Geraldine bonded nicely during this time.

Geraldine still found time to write inbetween the commission paintings and while she was preggers.  She finished 2 more novels! *all novels listed in ch 2.2*

The final novel she completed just before her pregnancy was over, was a romance novel.

“Lovers’ Landing” was a 624 page epic.  Geraldine received $2 183!! in royalties, and she too achieved her LTW, becoming an Acclaimed Author.

Finally the time came…

Oh my word!! @$%#! THE PAIN!!

Oh my word!! @$%#! THE PAIN!!

Look on the bright side, Geraldine…

…at least it’s not in the bathroom *giggle*

“GRRRR! %$@&!”

Oh thank the Lord!! It's almost over!

Geraldine gave birth to TWO o.O, healthy baby girls.  Her and Lawrence had decided on their favorite names together before, at least 2 babies eliminated an arguement and so the little ones were named…

Augustine and Veronique.

That very night Geraldine, myself and all the girls moved into the Legacy House.  We left Jefferson sleeping there, and he moved in the next day.

Oooh, well done on the LTWs!

    • worsiedog · October 9, 2009

Geraldine was easy as she automatically just goes to the pc and writes herself, though she does seem to rather do freewill painting.. *regardless of screaming babies in the background* lol

This is going to be one full legacy house! Congratualtions on the LTW’s! And don’t I just love good old Morti checking it all out!! 🙂 Exciting!

    • worsiedog · October 9, 2009

Yes, Morti:) This legacy would be lost without her. She is still maintaining a very strong presence in the house.

“This is going to be one full legacy house!”

*rolls eyes* -> don’t I know it!! Geraldine turns out to be quite the absent-minded mom! Lol
