Work was going well and I had been promoted to a Corporate Drone, aptly named, as with all the extra hours I had to put in I did feel like a walking zombie. However I did find some time for socialising, mainly also because I had to fit eating in somewhere in my busy schedule.
Conveniently Hogan’s Deep-fried Diner is right next door to Doo Peas and fits my pauper’s pocket nicely. I spend lots of time with my good friend Sherman Bagley but i am getting some rather unwelcome attention from Larry Cooper. A bit of nut job if I do say so myself.
Jon and I spend all our spare moments together, but little did I know he has something “brewing” on the side(more detail later). Sometimes he takes me out to the Bistro after work and afterwards plays his guitar and the whole restaurant stands up and starts dancing.
He has alot of fans and sometimes when we go out they just jump on his bus as he is about to take me home. This is rather annoying as he gets sidetracked and sometimes forgets I am there. However we have found time for romance and I have discovered to my joy that he is a GREAT kisser!! One thing lead to another one Saterday afternoon and before I knew it we were getting cosy on his bed.
My vegetable garden has been coming along nicely and I am now selling the extra produce to help make ends meet. That $320 I spent on the class was well worth it in the end.
I worked some extra over time hours and managed to get a small bonus which I used to start decorating as best I could. My bathroom is partially done and at least it is tiled! I also have a few lights so I do not sit in complete darkness at home anymore. I painted my room as I found it highly depressing to stare at the bleak grey walls.
I have been feeling really lousy these last few days and I thought perhaps I was stressed from work and might be coming down with a cold. BOY! was I mistaken!
I am thrilled and I can’t wait to tell Jon the news. He has been very busy touring lately so I have not seen him much after that wonderful Saterday afternoon together.
(Later jounal entry)
When I did eventually get a moment to tell Jon he was not as thrilled as I had expected. I was really dissapointed and hoped that I had not made a terrible mistake.
I tried to cook him dinner, but he asked me to leave as he said I was behaving inappropriately! I was mortified, but I left, all the while wondering what had gotten into him. I had this niggling feeling in the back of my mind that would not go away.
