As I settled down to life on 345 Riverblossom Hills Drive, I longed for someone special to share my experiences and life with. Unfortunately men seemed to be as scarce as hen’s teeth around here.
I had been promoted to a Report Processor and I had an extra few pennies here and there to go downtown with to meet the local ‘talent’.
For some reason only men older than my father seemed to frequent the gym.
One day, while playing a game of chess in the park, I met mr. dreamy… Odin Crosby. We quickly hit it off and were chatting away like old friends. He was ambitious like me and I could see him going far in life. Before I knew it, I had invited him out to dinner.
We spoke for hours, staying even after the restaurant had closed. Finally, as the evening wound down and I realised I had work the next day, he dropped a bombshell. He was married! I was devastated, my fantacies about our life together vanished in a *poof* of smoke.
Back to the drawing board I suppose.
I waited for a discount classes day and spent some money on a gardening class, I thought I could save myself alot if I could grow my own fresh produce, perhaps even selling the excess later for extra cash. I met Ma Bagley at the class and she told me that a good place to find rare seeds was at the cemetry.
I headed down to the cemetry and found it was a beautiful place to relax under a bench and catch up on some essential work reading and yes, I did find some rare seeds. After that I decided to explore the catacombs…
Fine, I did get mauled by a maniac zombie bear… but I also managed to find two gigantic space rocks that were worth over $2000 each!! Finally I had some spare money to start building my home.
Using that and the bonus I had just received from work, it was just enough to lay down the foundations and put the walls up. Finally I had a roof over my head, even if I had no lights *lol*.
I felt much safer and hoped that having walls would make my toilet less inviting for thieves!
It was tiny, but it was home.
