Chapter 1.10

The night that Jon and I committed to each other, he stayed over *wink wink*

Nothing quite like making up after.

Baby 2?

A few days later I went back to work.  I dreaded bumping into Constance in the hallways.

Luckily, my boss Luke was happy that I had completed my work assignment regarding Constance.   He gave me some more responsibility and said a promotion was on the cards.

For some reason Constance had said nothing.  I maintained a “professional” relationship with the vixen at work, even though I was tempted to scratch her eyes out.

But that would get me fired now wouldn’t it.  *Tsk tsk Morti, you must think with your brains not your venom*

I was barely back at work, just getting into the routine of things again when I started feeling naseous in the mornings.  Could I be pregnant again?

The thought was a little daunting.  I was still so exhausted with Maxi, but the thought of sharing another child with Jon was also most romantic.  Fine it wasn’t the ideal set up, he wasn’t living with me or anything, but he was my boo.  **sigh**

I bought a pregnancy test on the way home and waited anxiously the next morning for the result.  Sure as squirrels eat nuts, it was positive.  I was so excited!! I grabbed Maxi and told her she was going to be a big sister!! She burped… I think that was positive??

*sigh* No lightbulb yet...

*sigh* No lightbulb yet...

Luke looked at me as if I was the baby-making factory from the Garden of Eden when he found out that I was pregnant again.

“Again??”  Was his puzzled remark.  *Lol* I guess he was mad because his hardest working drone.. oops I meant employee would be off work again for a while.

Luckily he sent me on maternity leave with a promotion, isn’t that sweet??

But this was a perfect opportunity to work on my garden some more and spend time with my Maxi.  Jon was unfortunately touring again, so I would not get to see much of him.  However he was ecstatic about being a daddy again.

There were other comforts however, like  indulging in a bowl of cold cereal (yes I had managed to buy an el~cheapo fridge) on my toilet as I had no dining room table or chairs.

Isn't it pathetic?

Isn't it pathetic?

Maxi was very ill over her birthday, so we could not have a party.  I promised her that her next one would be spectacular.  She gurgled at me as I rocked her to and fro.  When she did age up, I had to giggle.  *LOL*

She did not have a single stitch of hair on her head, which surprised me since my hair was thick and dad had those wonderful shiny locks that I loved to run my fingers through.  *Sheesh Morticia get a hold of yourself*

*Hmm, I wonder if whoever reads this one day will think its weird that I talk to myself while “narrating” my life?*

Look mom... no hair :)

Look mom... no hair 🙂

YES! as you can see, I still had not managed to paint those confounded grey walls in the kitchen!  I swore I would do it before I went into labour again.  Didn’t want a repeat of last time, that was for sure.

With the bonus from my promotion I bought windows, kitchen counters, a book shelf and decorated the walls.  Oh wait I forgot, I managed to get LIGHTS!!  *does jig of joy*

At least I would not have to eat instant meals out of the fridge anymore.  Fine… there was no stove yet, but anything was better than cold canned soup, cereal and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.

I got over excited with decorating.  I knew I had forgotten to buy something.. but what was it??  Hmmm…

shapes are fun“AWWW, look.  Maxi is playing with her shapes. “

You can see my counters and my lovely kitchen tiles in this shot.

Ooo, look there is me being industrious.  Isn’t that the perfect image of domestic bliss?

I think Maxi is cute even with no hair… of course mum is pretty and those genetics of rocker boy count for something too! 🙂

When I first saw the no hair I thought I had a game glitch… *typcial blonde moment*, but then I went to CAS and saw bald toddlers are normal.

The combination of Jon and Morti’s gene’s produced some awesome children!

My founder must have been hiding some dog spit ugly genes. She had three younguns with Joe-Jon. Ba’el = ugly. Ves = ugly until he joined the military career and got muscles. Perrin = fairly nice.

So if Jon Lessen has good genes . . . I guess the ugly pre-crash DeCasims are my own fault. 😉

Ves was my favorite! He was super gorgeous. LOL, I used to love his age-up pics. I thought Ba’el was very pretty, she always reminded me of a little impie 🙂
Perrin always looked so sad and serious… lol…

LOL, I went and looked up on Ves again now for a bit of oggling:D

Gee babe… got much furniture??! Wtf! Is the mission of sims3 to make sure you know how a pauper lives 24/7?? Haha! 🙂

LOL, just like starting from scratch when you move out of home 🙂 I guess that is why Morticia is so thrilled and ‘brags’ every time she gets something new.

I actually started reading from the end and made my way back… LOL. I like the Morticia style of journal. She didn’t need to worry: people won’t find it weird, but… quirky – in a very charming and sweet way!

Thanks 🙂 Yes I loved Morticia… she kept her sense of humour in all things at all times, which made her such a great and strong character.

I liked writing in her style… I tried to give each heir a voice of their own in my writing style.
